Christmas in TW

Well, today is Christmas day in TW, but although it is celebrated, defenitely in far greater intensity than its Western counterpart. I am guessing its probably celebrated at the same level as Valentines Day or Halloween is in Canada.

The weather is fantastic though, a very cool 22-26 degrees everyday, occasionally dropping into the teens. Winter is defenitely the best time to be visiting Taiwan, while ppl back in Toronto are fighting -26 degrees weather and severe snow fall, the temperatures here are great.

I was pretty sick a week ago, so haven't updated my journal in a while. Had a really bad stomach flu. Before that, I didn't have anything interesting to note except the mosquitoes here were driving me nutz. Wow, I can't believe its been more than a month since my last post. Time really flies by here...thats for sure. I think its because the weather doesn't really change, its bright and sunny here all the time except for the occasional thunder storm, and without the changing seasons are to tell what month it is :P
